Healing & Crystals

Crystals take millions of years to form underground. The way crystals are formed (by repeating chemical structures) is believed by some to imbue them with the ability to hold energies. There are different types of crystals, depending on the type of mineral it’s made from and the conditions it grows in. These differences are thought to change the effect the crystal has energetically.

They are a part of Mother Earth, connecting, balancing and harmonising your body, mind and soul. They also connect with all living things not only within but interconnecting with the energy fields around us too.

YŪRE works with a wide range of variety of crystals, and the healing properties of the crystal or jewellery is included in every order. In this way you can connect more with your new life magical "companion".

Different types of crystals are thought to have different properties and energies. Just holding, wearing them and being near these crystals is therefore thought to affect our own energies on a physical, spiritual and emotional level.

Gemstones are gaining popularity as accent pieces that provide an earthy touch to home decor. There’s also an increased interest in using crystals for more esoteric purposes.

Meditation & Crystals - Cultures around the world have used crystals in healing and meditation practices for thousands of years. As you may have noticed, crystals and stones are gaining popularity as accent pieces that provide an earthy touch to home decor. There’s also an increased interest in using crystals for more esoteric purposes.

Place your crystal in one of your chakras, wear your YŪRE jewellery or simple hold it, do whatever you feel you need and begin with your meditation routine.

Cleaning your crystals or YŪRE jewellery - If you would like to get them ready before the meditation, you could clean them. Here you have my favourite ways to bring their power back:

  • Cleaning by passing them through incense. Some people prefer use sage smoke, I particularly like to use my favourite incense.
  • Using sound like chanting or singing bowls.
  • Exposing them to the sun or moonlight for several hours, I love these ones.
  • Placing them in a bowl with water and sea salt. Crystals Only.
  • Setting your crystal under running water. Crystals Only.

In the BATH - If you are having trouble relaxing, you may find it helpful to use crystals in a warm/hot bath. It is a relaxing method however this is not suitable for selenite or calcite as they will dissolve.

CHAKRAS - Chakras are thought to be energy transducers in your energetic body. Each represents a different part of your physical and spiritual being. You can place a crystal on the chakra that aligns with your intention to activate and rebalance energies.

Connecting with Your Chakras

You may experience your chakras, consciousness centers, in meditation, visualisation, yoga, Reiki, crystal healing, sound healing, acupuncture, or a variety of different ways. Some people can see the swirling energy in their mind’s eye, or they can feel the vortex with their hands when they hover their hands over their bodies. Others feel sensations in their bodies or mental and emotional shifts that correlate with the chakras. You may also get in touch with the thoughts and emotions stored in each vortex with chakra journaling.

As you begin to feel, sense, or see your chakras, their flow may feel underactive or overactive. It may feel deficient and contracted, or expansive and healthy. A healthy chakra system will include chakras that are bright in color, balanced in size, and flowing at a healthy speed.

The Chakras of Matter

Each chakra holds the beliefs, emotions, and memories related to specific areas of our life. The lower chakras are related to Earthly matters such as survival, sex, and power. The top three chakras are related to higher consciousness, truth, intuition, and purpose. In the middle, the heart chakra bridges the two worlds with empathy, love, and compassion.

- FIRST Chakra

The Muladhara is the chakra of stability, security, and our basic needs. It encompasses the first three vertebrae, the bladder, and the colon. When this chakra is open, we feel safe and fearless.

- SECOND Chakra

The Swadhisthana chakra is our creativity and sexual center. It is located above the pubic bone, below the navel, and is responsible for our creative expression.

- THIRD Chakra

The Manipura chakra means lustrous gem and it’s the area from the navel to the breastbone. The third chakra is our source of personal power.

- The FOURTH Chakra: The Connection Between Matter and Spirit

Located at the heart center, the fourth chakra, Anahata, is in the middle of the seven and unites the lower chakras of matter and the upper chakras of spirit. The fourth is also spiritual but serves as a bridge between our body, mind, emotions, and spirit. The heart chakra is our source of love and connection.

When we work through our physical chakras, or the first three, we can open the spiritual chakras more fully.

The Chakras of Spirit

- FIFTH Chakra

The Vishuddha chakra is the fifth chakra, located in the area of the throat. This is our source of verbal expression and the ability to speak our highest truth. The fifth chakra includes the neck, thyroid, and parathyroid glands, jaw, mouth, and tongue.

- SIXTH Chakra

The Ajna chakra is located in between the eyebrows. It is also referred to as the third eye chakra. Ajna is our center of intuition. We all have a sense of intuition but we may not listen to it or heed its warnings. A focus on opening the sixth chakra will help you hone this ability.

- SEVENTH Chakra

The Sahasrara chakra or the “thousand petal lotus” chakra is located at the crown of the head. This is the chakra of enlightenment and spiritual connection to our higher selves, others, and ultimately, to the divine. It is located at the crown of the head.
